VH5 are absolutely unreal, the reviews on here are 100% legit. Steffan and the guys are so active and really get involved with the crowd getting everyone up dancing. All night and in the days after our wedding, the number one thing guests keep telling us is “Wow, the band are amazing!!!” Also on the run up to the wedding Steffan was always on hand to answer any questions answering me within seconds. Honestly these guys are probably the best wedding band in Scotland - get them booked!
We honestly couldn’t recommend VH5 highly enough! They were absolutely incredible from start to finish and helped make our wedding day so special. Steffan was brilliant to work with in the lead-up to the wedding — professional, friendly and so easy to deal with. On the night, the whole band were fantastic, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how brilliant they were. Steffan’s vocals were genuinely unbelievable! We also had Steffan and the guitarist perform during our ceremony, which was such a special touch and sounded absolutely amazing. One of the best compliments came from our guests afterwards. Because the band were positioned at the back of the room, several guests actually thought the music was a recording playing — until they turned around and realised it was live! 😂 VH5 absolutely smashed it and created an amazing atmosphere from beginning to end. VH5 were everything we could want in a wedding band. They played a great variety of music that accommodated all of our guests. The band created an amazing atmosphere and made sure the dance floor was full the entire night. We were so grateful that they learned and excellently performed our first dance song as well! We would highly recommend VH5.
Steffan and the band were just amazing! Great vocals, full of energy and great at encouraging people to dance and get involved. They played a good mix of songs that had all ages up dancing. Weve had so many comments from guests to say how good they were.
Well what can we say, they were amazing the dance floor was packed all night, the ceilidh dancing was so much fun. I left it to them to read the room and decide what songs were best to play, they are the pros after all and they nailed it. Everyone commented on how good they were, wish I could do it all again. We are not sure are words will do justice to express how grateful we are to VH5 for playing at our wedding yesterday. From start to finish, a brilliant band kept the dance floor full. A great set list, banger after banger. Cannot thank Steffan and guys enough. So many guest commenting on how great the band was. My wife and I hired VH5 for our wedding and they were amazing! Steffan is such a great frontman and his crowd work is brilliant. On top of this, he made the whole process so easy and was great at making sure the entertainment was going to be exactly how we wanted it. My wife and I wanted the original recording of an older song for our first dance so the band kindly offered to learn another song that isn’t in their usual repertoire, they absolutely nailed it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted the ceilidh but I’m so glad my wife talked me into it because it was unbelievably fun, everyone loved it. Our guests still mention how great the band was at the wedding, we couldn’t be happier with how it went. VH5 are 10/10, hire this band!
VH5 were honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment they started playing, the whole atmosphere changed the energy, the emotion, everything just came alive. What a band. We booked VH5 for our wedding 10.04.26, and it was 100% the right choice! They were excellent, playing to the crowd and got everyone up & moving. The band was absolutely fantastic! From the moment they started playing, everyone was on their feet and didn't sit down once! Steffan was great at keeping everyone entertained and they were all great at showing newbies how to ceilidh. We had nothing but fantastic reviews from our guests about how good they were. Would highly recommend.
We cannot thank Steffan & the guys enough. They are absolutely amazing & our dance floor was never empty! A few times I wanted to have a sit down or go get a drink but every song was too good to leave the dance floor! From the booking process, catching up with Steffan before the wedding & on the day everything was perfect. We have nothing but good things to say about Steffan and VH5. We booked Steffan for 2 hours before the band started and he had everyone out on the dance floor before even eating. He kept everyone entertained and is an amazing performer. When the whole band started it was amazing. They know how to play a crowd, play amazing songs and are entertaining the entire night. We have received nothing but compliments regarding the band. We booked them based on the videos online and honestly they don't do them justice. The videos are really good, but live they're absolutely fantastic. We want to plan another party just to have them play again.
VH5 were nothing short of amazing! From the very first song to the last dance, they brought such incredible energy and had the dance floor packed all night. Every song was a hit, and their enthusiasm was infectious. Their crowd interaction was also brilliant - our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! They read the crowd perfectly, kept the atmosphere buzzing. I don't think our dance floor was ever empty! We couldn't have asked for a better band to soundtrack our wedding.
Just incredible. The icing on the cake of our amazing day. Sounded brilliant, Stefan was great, got the crowd going, gave it 110% all night and played an awesome set list. Would highly recommend.
Top class band. Everyone up on the dance floor from start to finish. We loved the interaction from the band throughout but especially during the ceilidh dancing with our English guests. A special shout out to the guitarist from my husband for the Guns n Roses Sweet Child of Mine solo!
The band were incredible – truly the highlight of everyone's day. The atmosphere was incredible and the guys were so interactive and engaged all our guests. The range of songs was brilliant and everyone was up on the dance floor. The ceilidh dancing was brilliant – they got into the crowd and helped with all the steps and made it such a laugh. These guys are worth every pound! People were dancing from the moment they started until the very last note. Stephan is an incredible singer, great energy, and so professional. Met with us a few times before to discuss our needs, was a fantastic communicator all along the way, and the guys of the band are just truly amazing musicians. He sang a gorgeous cover of our wedding song and then rocked the night away. My guests are still talking about this band 4 months later, no joke. Best band of any wedding they've been to. If you're at all considering VH5, just book them. You'll be so happy you did! Thank you VH5 for making our wedding a hit! :)
A real talking point of the wedding. The band were great, contactable throughout the booking, listened to what we both wanted, shared ideas and were very approachable. On the evening they played a variety of music and were amazing with all the guests. Loved that they were able to throw in the Scottish music, and explained all the dances really well for our non-Scottish guests. Thank you again VH5, you guys were brilliant.
Wow... what can I say? We booked VH5 for our wedding and they certainly didn't disappoint. We booked the acoustic set for our drinks reception and then had the full band in the evening. They were fantastic. The dancefloor was packed all night. Wish we could do it all over again. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife & I really wanted to make sure that we let you know how happy we were with VH5. The band were incredible from start to finish. Before the date, Steffan called us to go through everything and really put us at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. On the night the band arrived promptly and got set up quickly and from the minute they started playing the dance floor wasn't empty. The energy and vibe that they brought was incredible & we have had an unbelievable amount of people commenting on how great they were. Steffan interacted with the guests, came into the crowd and even had my sister in law dancing all night - and she doesn't dance! Picking the right band was really important to us as we wanted a full dancefloor with good music all night & VH5 were perfect.
We honestly can't recommend VH5 enough — they were absolutely brilliant to deal with from start to finish. From the very first meeting, they made us feel completely at ease. They listened to all our requests, including our "definite yes" and "definite no" lists, which meant we knew we were in safe hands. On the big day, they were nothing short of incredible. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was. Their energy, talent, and sense of fun kept the atmosphere electric all night. Even during their breaks, the songs they played kept people on the dance floor — it never emptied once! We had an intimate wedding with around 50 guests, but that didn't stop VH5 from filling the floor with every single song. They were such a great laugh too — brilliant at engaging the crowd and getting everyone involved. The ceilidh was a fantastic touch that had everyone in stitches, whether dancing or watching. One of the absolute highlights was when one of our guests got up to perform "It Should Have Been Me," chasing people around the room — the band jumped right in and joined the chaos, which had everyone in tears laughing. Even when her teeth accidentally fell out mid-performance, VH5 didn't miss a beat, they just rolled with it and kept the energy going. The guys fitted in so well with our guests that it felt like they were part of the party. Their talent, friendliness, and sheer enthusiasm made them such a huge part of our day. If you're looking for a band that will entertain, engage, and leave your guests with unforgettable memories, VH5 are the ones. We couldn't have asked for better.
These guys are absolutely insane. They brought the party to our wedding and had guests on the dancefloor from start to finish. The song choices were perfection and they offered a wide range to suit all ages of guests. They are absolutely brilliant musicians and front man Steffan's voice is world class. I couldn't recommend these guys enough!!

We booked VH5 for our wedding at Lochside Hotel with the addition of a DJ set at the end of the evening. This band is nothing short of excellent! The atmosphere is electric from start to finish! Steffan gets the whole crowd up, interacting with them and performing at 100% all night! The band play such a wide range of music and accommodate requests which is a lovely touch with live music! The dancefloor was never empty and everyone raved about them afterward! The communication on the run up to the wedding was great, we had a direct line to Steffan that put me at ease straight away! The whole booking process from start to finish was super simple and effective. I literally wouldn't recommend anyone else for functions or weddings, this band are incredible!
VH5 are simply incredible. Steffan (lead singer) was brilliant with his communication before the wedding and offered us the opportunity to choose the songs that meant so much to us (with plenty of videos online to choose some great songs). On the day the band were outstanding. The first dance, Take My Hand, was delivered with so much passion… and it made for such an incredibly emotional moment. We still tear up when watching it back. They then followed up with a mix of our chosen songs and some absolute belters that had the dance floor bouncing all night. Steffan then performed a DJ set where the night finished up with so much energy. These guys are really talented and give it their all. Our opinion, and that of most of the guests (140) was that VH5 were easily the best band they had seen perform at a wedding. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Simply superb. Thank you!
We went to see the band play 18 months ago and we are so glad we did. They were absolutely amazing. We booked them for our wedding in Stirling and they played a blinder! They played such a wide variety of music for absolutely everyone of all ages. They had the whole wedding on the dancefloor. It was fantastic. We cannot thank them enough for playing our wedding. We and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night. They were fab! Would 100% recommend to anyone booking a wedding – the boys do not disappoint!!

We feel very lucky that we were able to book VH5 for our wedding. After listening to their music via online videos we knew they were something special. Steffan and the band are incredible. Many of our guests commented on how amazing they all are. They know exactly what to play and at exactly the right time. They even added in some ceilidh dances with members of the band showing us each one and interacting with our guests to get them up dancing. Steffan is fantastic as lead vocalist. He even played a one hour DJ set at the end of the night so that the celebrations could keep going. We cannot thank them enough for the fun and energy they brought to our evening. We also loved their rendition of our first dance song that they learned for us. Many thanks VH5. We hope to see you again at another event.
You will be lucky if you manage to get these guys booked for your wedding! We booked VH5 having listened to content with the hope that they would be good, but the reality was they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Steffan and the guys know the drill and hit the spot in terms of gauging the room, playing what you and your guests will enjoy, and are even better at getting people up off their feet to get energy on the dance floor. They make everyone feel at ease and get the good vibes going. That was the best bit to be fair, as I've seen many wedding bands just 'play', but these guys truly perform! Steffan's voice brings a superb sound to every track where you forget that these are covers and deliver absolute tune after tune after tune! Book them if you get a chance, and definitely go see them!
Ok so these guys are absolutely phenomenal. Don't hesitate to book them for your wedding honestly the amount of people who were just blown away by them was insane. These guys were amazing! They did a perfect job of learning and performing our first dance and kept the dance floor full all evening/night. Our guests have repeatedly told us how good they were and how much fun they had dancing. On top of that they were so helpful, down to earth, nice guys. We cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
If you are looking for a wedding band look no further, these guys are absolutely amazing! From the very beginning they were outstanding, called for catch ups and ran through our day, they learnt our first dance and also attended the afternoon of the wedding to do a set, they pretty much sang from 2pm to midnight! They were amazing at guest interaction even letting one guest sing and interacted with the kids on the dancefloor. They helped coordinate our evening and ensured the dancefloor was never empty! Had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser for The Archie Foundation where VH5 played. They filled the dancefloor for the whole night with a great mix of music for all ages, and I can't recommend them highly enough. As a musician myself it was a treat to see such a great level of musicianship, and I have to give a shout out to the drummer who kept the band tight all night.
Vh5 played for our destination wedding at Drumtochty Castle in October and killed it. Our biggest fear was that no one would dance at our wedding, but the guys had the crowd dancing all night long. It was fantastic. We had failed to communicate a set list/preferences with the band prior to the big day, but they showed up, worked quickly with us to figure out the vibe, took a few requests from the crowd and then knocked it out the park with a fantastic range of songs. They even had the patience to teach us some ceilidh dancing and make it a great time when we failed abysmally! Absolutely fantastic time and highly recommend Steffan and the lads!

Absolutely outstanding band. Have been brilliant since time of booking for our wedding. Hired them for daytime and night and was not disappointed. Plays to the crowd and our dance floor was never empty. Our guests all still talking about the best time they had and we had over 200 at our wedding. Excellent. They were so good. Good range of pop and rock songs that got the dance floor busy all night. Also did some ceilidh songs. Steffan interacted just the right amount with the crowd. Everyone I've spoken to loved them. Lead up to the day was great with great communication. Thanks again VH5.
Wow! The band were just fantastic! So many guests talking about how good they were. They are experts at getting to know the crowd and once they found that sweet spot the dancefloor was packed all night and the crowd were loving it! They included ceilidh dances as well as the V95 party dance which was just the perfect combination. Highly recommend!
We can't speak highly enough for VH5! They were absolutely fantastic and had all of our wedding guests partying for hours! The whole process was smooth, with frequent communication with the band. They arrived on time, set up without any problems and played some absolute bangers. Highly recommended, and we will be keeping them in mind for any future events!

We booked VH5 to play at our Ardersier Gala 2023 Marquee Dance. We could not have been happier with the performance, the guys absolutely rocked it. We were looking for a band to play a variety of songs from all genres and through the ages to cater for everyone and Steffan and the lads did not disappoint. From Proud Mary to Watermelon Sugar High and everything in between. Topped off with a good Scottish Loch Lomond on the stroke of midnight, the whole night was excellent, from start to finish. I need to acknowledge the band's professionalism which didn't go unnoticed. From load in through sound check and on to the actual show. Faultless. The energy and buzz they brought to our night was spot on - not to mention the 300 mile round trip up to us and back. If you're looking for a band for your function or event, look no further. The band were INCREDIBLE!! From start to finish they had guests on the dance floor including myself. I spent more time dancing than I did speaking with my friends and family!! The song choices were spot on and all guests commented on just how amazing they were - we didn't want it to end! We highly recommend VH5. These guys are everyone's choice from the bridal party to guests. They put on a show, they create the ambience, the feel good factor and the busy dance floor. They're talented musos, technically gifted and excellent at mingling through the crowd and keeping the momentum going. Great with kids too. Their songs are modern with the occasional classic thrown in. Very upbeat, happy and a joy to listen to if that's your thing. Do yourself a favour. I might have seen one or two bands in my life. One of the best weddings ever.
This band are amazing! They were called in last minute to cover my friend's wedding after a cancellation and they were fantastic all night. They kept the crowd going and got everyone up dancing. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band for an event/wedding.
What a fantastic band from start to finish for our daughter's wedding. They played the songs she wanted for her first dance and her father and daughter dance. Just needed to send them what she wanted so they could practise them and they did really good with them. Highly recommend them for a wedding.
The band originally booked called off 24 hrs prior to the wedding and VH5 stood in at the last minute. Surprised that we were able to get them, they were brilliant. Would have booked them originally if we had known how good they were. Music choice was great and the band were so responsive to the audience and brilliant with the kids. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a band for your wedding.
We LOVED VH5! From the moment we booked the band they were enthusiastic and keen to help us make our evening one to remember. Stefan kept us calm with a few check-ins on the lead up to the wedding and on the evening responded to the crowd by playing songs that he knew would get them on the dance floor. Myself and my now husband had a great time and our friends have raved about the band ever since. A few moments to remember: - their mix of dance between 90s pop and Scottish dancing - "Sit Down" cover originally by James - Loch Lomond where Stefan joined us in the middle to dance. VH5 are THE best! We couldn't have asked for a better band and will always remember our wedding day for the fun we had on the dancefloor! Steffan was on the ball right from the start, he listened to our requests, and together with the rest of the band delivered a beautiful reception. From the first song, to the ceilidh (including demonstrations by the band members), to the wee dance challenge at the end, everything was amazing! Thank you so much again. Shortly after booking VH5, I received a call from the lead vocalist, Steffan, introducing himself and asking questions about the big day. He told me that they are a new band and that we would actually be their first wedding. This made me a bit nervous with the lack of experience performing at a wedding, but the promos sounded good so we stuck with them. And thank god we did! I can't tell you how many of our guests told us on the night of our wedding (and continue to tell us) how great VH5 was. Many of them have even said it was the best wedding band they have ever heard. The song choices were perfect, upbeat and familiar songs but not the overplayed stuff you hear at every wedding. They learned our first dance song and did a wonderful job with it. They also learned our father-daughter dance song two weeks before the wedding! Steffan did a lovely job of keeping in touch and checking in with me as the big day approached. He even called the week of to let me know everything was good to go, the band had all tested negative and that they would begin to isolate until the wedding, which was so lovely to know how seriously they were taking this job. When our guests talk to us about the wedding, the first thing they mention is the band. We had so much fun dancing all night as they kept the party going! If you are looking for a fun group to keep everyone dancing, look no further!
A ton of fun and brought the energy. Learned the first dance song for the bride and groom and performed it perfectly. Brought many old favourites that I had forgotten about as well.
We had an amazing evening entertainment by lead singer Steffan from VH5 for our wedding. We had originally booked another band and due to Covid they had to cancel the day before the wedding. Steffan came to our rescue and we are over the moon and forever thankful he did! The band guitarists had other commitments but the lead singer Steffan was able to come on his own and save the day. All our guests partied the night away. Steffan even formed a band with our children, nieces and nephews and they felt so special it was a fabulous night. VH5 have played for us on numerous occasions. They are excellent. Every event has had an outstanding atmosphere - 500+ in attendance. I would not hesitate in recommending them.
VH5 was our wedding band they were absolutely amazing and they are well worth the money as we got a great deal. I would recommend them for anyone that wants a band for a private function or any clubs that needs a band for a Friday or Saturday night.

Booked the band for a private business event and I would highly recommend. Their songs were very varied and a great mix to suit all ages. Would definitely book again!
I hired VH5 to play at a work event for 120 people and I regret nothing about hiring them. They were easy to work with, very accommodating and hands down one of the best bands I could have picked to play at my event.
